This violet wand has been lovingly restored – a new faux leather heavy duty case covering, new case clips, new leather handle and a rich cotton velvet interior – the original electrode clips have been retained, as is for the original 1930 layout.
The control unit is the original black bakelite as is the handpiece and date from the same period.
Power is controlled by the knob on the side of the control unit – which for the technically minded operates the contact breakers from a medium low to high – more than enought for most people.
Naturally we have replaced the cables with modern flexible PVC and refurbished the internal electrics to the highest possible standards allowing for the original design. This includes new capacitors, re insulated interior wiring, cleaning the contact breakers and tuning them, securing the cables so they can neither be pulled out or pushed in, etc,etc
